Paleo Southwest Taco Seasoning (Low-FODMAP, Gluten-free, Preservative Free)


1 tablespoon cumin
1/2 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon garlic infused oil (optional)


This seasoning mix is enough for 2-3 pounds of meat. It depends on the amount of flavor you want your meat to have. My family tends to like a bit of a flavor punch so I cook it up with 2 pounds of ground beef. You can also add a tablespoon of garlic infused oil to the pan before cooking the meat to add garlic flavor, this is optional though.

I mix this recipe up a few batches at a time and keep it in the pantry in an air tight container. It is great for traveling as well.
